A "stepped lid" treasure box you will be proud to own or give. My boxes are made from traditional Japanese Yuzen paper and handmade Nepalese Lokta. The stepped lid adds an elegant touch and shows off the papers so well. Sitting on Gold Painted wooden feet and Topped with a hand painted wooden knob the box measures approx. 3.5" by 3.5" by 3.75" tall. Inside of box measures just under 2". Artist made from start to finish I cut all the bookboard and papers by hand. Then I glue using archival paste making sure all joins are exact. Collect them as decorative accents since they are little pieces of elegant art!
