Every year we pick a day to go to Terry-Andrae Beach near Kohler. We pack a lunch, sun umbrella, sunscreen, chairs, books, and towels and off we go. The trick is to choose a day that will be warm enough for swimming and not too crowded with people. Since we like to sit in peace and quiet, we park and head north…. walking with all our stuff till we reach the perfect place. This year we had a little spot to ourselves to set up in. We hiked the Juniper Trail first, then went in the water. The waves were superb and perfect for diving into. The water was lovely and clean and not as cold as one would expect. We ate lunch and sat reading for the balance of the afternoon. When I looked up I was surprised to see so many other people on OUR beach! Guess I was deep into my book…… Ah – I love a good beach day.
Mist burning off over the Lake……Juniper Nature trail – Great Boardwalk for hiking!
